About us

We welcome you to join us on this journey

While we confess that we cannot be completely objective, we believe the soul motion teaching path cultivates essential leadership qualities: presence, groundedness, centeredness, balance, creativity, active listening, clear vision, heart — and anchors them in the body. Our teaching journey is to embody these qualities in movement on the dance floor, and to live and share them on the “world floor” of everyday life. That transfer — from dance floor to daily life — is what makes soul motion a practice relevant to our times. and why this path is both our passion and our lifelong purpose.

For the past 30 years, I have supported thousands of dance devotees, depth divers, spiritual seekers and ‘body freaks’ toward feeling at home in our skin so we can move through life with a relaxed body, an open heart and a mind a little more free from relentless commentary.

I teach embodiment, conscious relating, somatic inquiry, everyday prayer, release and recovery, and it’s all somehow easier to do when we have support and company.

Our Moving Circles Sangha is a community of practice: people gathering with a shared intention to explore, to deepen, to open, to relax.

To live the life we took this birth for.
